In this beginner’s French language course, you will master the basics of the French language fast. You can progress through the course as quickly or as slowly as you wish. You can learn french online free of having to go to a physical classroom. Taking this online course is a convenient way to learn the language in you free time or on the go.
Students will be introduced to a variety of French language conventions, verbs, grammar, and vocabulary. By the end of the course, students will be able to introduce themselves to others, ask and respond to simple questions, and carry on a basic conversation in French.
This course, taught by an experienced, bilingual French teacher, is comprised of video lectures and learning activities (quizzes) to help solidify your learning.

Aristole Plato
Born and raised in Canada, I’ve been surrounded by lots of different cultures and languages my whole life. I have a degree in French and Italian Studies; and I also speak Spanish. Over the years, I have picked up a bit of Portuguese, Mandarin, and Dutch also. One of my passions is travelling around the world. My travels have taken me to almost 30 countries, and I have met friends in many countries, using my fluency in French, Italian, and Spanish.
I am a College French professor, a travel blogger (on The Travelling Linguist), and a YouTuber. I enjoy teaching on FringeAcademy to help people from all around the world learn French and other languages. Check out the courses I offer to allow me to help you achieve your language learning goals!
